Do I need to be a member?
No, there is no membership, just turn up. There is a loyalty card scheme though; your 6th visit is free!!
Am I allowed to smoke?
No. due to the current UK smoking ban, the building is a no smoking zone, however guests are more then welcome to go outside for a smoke, but it is a good idea to put some clothes on first.
I don't want anyone to know I’m there!
Total discretion is observed at all times, we don’t take any personal details. If anyone sees you in Rock Road you could be going to or from the car park, so the only way people will find out is if they see you in there, and they will be there for the same reason!
What do I need to bring?
Nothing! Most things are provided. Footwear though is not; use your own flip-flops if you wish.
Do I need swimming trunks/shorts?
No, wearing shorts is discouraged as they make the floors even wetter than necessary. But if Speedos or trunks are what turns you on – go for it!
What happens when I get there?
Just walk in off the street, go downstairs, through a glass door and press the buzzer to be let in. Pay the entry fee (+ a small deposit) and you’ll be given a towel and key. Then get changed, wrap the towel round, put your clothes in your locker, fasten the key around your wrist or ankle.
How long can I stay?
You can stay for as long as you want. The opening times for the spa are listed on the main spa page. The fee is for as long as you want within that day! Should you wish to take a break, a pass out ticket is available to come back in later that day (small fee + deposit payable on re-entry).
Do I have to wear a towel?
No... Only while in the reception area. You don’t have to wear a towel on the other floors if you don’t want to.
Can I get a dry towel if I need one?
Yes, we will replace your towel once free - just ask for another one – subsequent towels are charged for.
Can I get a shower?
Yes – Warm & cold showers available with shower gel. (We’ve never run out of hot water, even on our busiest days).
Do I need to bring condoms & lube?
You can bring your own if you want - but plenty of condoms and lube are freely available. Free condoms and lube are in hoppers by the private cabins and in the large cruising area. If there are none, just ask one of the guys at reception. Silicone lube is on sale in reception.
Will I fit in?
There is someone for everyone. All types, shapes and sizes come, so you've no need to worry.
I'm shy!
There really isn’t any reason to be shy! Once inside and you've familiarised yourself with the layout you will be at ease. Nothing is going to happen that you are not comfortable with.
How do I know if a guy is interested?
The same way you’d know if you saw a guy in the street or in a bar. Eye contact at first, then maybe physical contact will follow, either side can show interest, either side can let the other know they are not interested. A simple, respectful “no thanks” is usually enough, no need to get aggressive.
How do I know the other guy is not straight?
Only gay and bi guys use the spa (Except for our mixed nights which are the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month).
What if I get an erection?
Make the most of it!
Can I make friends there?
Of course you can! It’s just the same as being in a bar or club.
When is the best time to go?
There are no guaranteed “best” times…. Saturdays & Sundays tend to be the busiest days, but one Sunday might be very busy and the following Sunday could be very quiet - it's a chance you take. It’s always busiest in the afternoons.
Is there anything that is not acceptable?
Violence, treat everyone else as you would wish to be treated. Due to the nature of the business the floors WILL get very wet and slippery, so NO running, ALWAYS use the hand rails.
